We guide the camera through the chimney flue to check for hidden issues that aren’t visible from the fireplace opening, including cracks, gaps, blockages, creosote buildup, and damage. What we inspect (with camera): Chimney flue (full camera scan) – check for cracks, separation, obstructions, or heavy buildup Damper area – verify opening/closing, alignment, and any corrosion or damage Firebox – inspect for cracks, loose bricks, damaged mortar, or heat wear Smoke chamber / transition areas (when accessible) – look for defects and draft-related problems Who performs the inspection This camera inspection is completed by our experienced chimney inspection partner, ensuring a professional assessment and reliable findings. Arrival window / scheduling note Your technician will arrive within a 2-hour time window based on your original scheduled appointment time. Repair credit (if needed) If repairs are recommended and you move forward with chimney/fireplace repair service, the inspection fee will be credited back toward the repair.
